Btw what's the substrate you using? Need some tips on setting up a monster tank..

Tan pool filter sand @ 5$ per 40lbs bag, only need two. Then at a local creek I grabbed some sand and various stones. About 4 cups of stones and 5 cups of darker creek sand. Wash good and mix all together.


Leslie's or lees pool supply store has the pool filter sand. Look em up!

A normal mature red belly will have a red tinge in the stomach area stretching to the bottom fin. Its a tinge. They wont look like they do at 1 inch when grown.
