she will eat whole ones, like in the pic, but they can be hard to find in my area because of all the pesticides. this one was from a fishing trip that we caught in the woods and didnt us.

I will try flakes. but i try to feed her NLS cichlid pellets 1mm in size but she can't swallow them. when she exhales the just come out again. when i feed hikari carnivore pellets she will eat them until they fall apart.

NLS is a very good food, just recommended flakes to get her eating. Keep us posted on her progress.

Maybe shes protesting because she wants more worms?

Thanks. I'll pick those up. Also if it helps, mine is like 4" long. Are those pellets good for her size?
