I know lots of you have bred these and my guys arent real big, but at what size of each species can you start expecting some courting and breeding to occur?

Red ceibals will start breeding at about 2-2.5"... males slightly larger than females.
I've had severums breed as small as 4-5" or so...

my red ceibals bred when they were about 3", Heros efaciatus and severus around 7", and notatus around 5-6". It probably depends on the age also...

According to Matt you have to put right amount of pressure on the parents. Too little they won't spawn. Too much they eat the eggs.
