ok well in a couple of months when my RCS have grown to a nice colony (got a berryed female now :D)
i was thinking of doing a heavily planted tank with a small school of neon tetra's
basically a few questions.
am i looking at any issues between the animals? are my RCS gonna be eaten by the neons or vice versa.
and if i provide plenty of cover, (lots of moss) will i still be able to expect a few babys to make it.
also, can RCS Jump?

The tetras can eat some newborn babies. Anything that fits in their mouth. But if you have lots of plants like moss you can give them better odds. And yes shrimp can sorta jump with their tails

As Pyramid already mentioned yes your tetras may pick off some of the RCS babies, and also yes, RCS can jump out of the tank if the water level is close enough to the top of an open top tank...

kk thanks very much for the info, and about 2 inch's from the top? they've been in there for a couple of days.

Ummmm... its hard to say exactly how far fro the top you need the water to be, coz in my experience worst case scenario is the jumper may not make it over the top of the tank, but still manage to get stuck on the inside wall near the top of the tank...

Either way, unless you spook them or they get spooked while the shrimp are near the top i don't think you should have too many problems with jumpers...
