"Red" Datnoids???????

I've had Mangrove Jacks and they are super aggressive. Around 6" they prefer brackish and later full marine.

Yea they do look pretty nice, imagine it in a large tank with a mangrove aquascape.

mangrove jack I belive. I made the mistake of buying one of these "Red Datnoids" then the experts here set me straight and I returned it

Thanks. He was around 14" and in 100% freshwater. I was amazed at how many shrimp he would eat every night.

He ended up dying in transit to another MFK'r.

If I could find another one, I would definitely buy it.

Jacks can live their entire lives in freshwater.

Great taste too when you Barbeque it.....
