RED DATNOIDS?????

Does anybody know anything about these fish......I call them red datnoids the fish store called them lip fish or liv fish........................I need to find out information on them they are sooooooo cool! THEY LOOK IDENTICAL TO A DATNOID!!!!! just red

It is not a datnoid.

It is a mangrove jack. Lutjanas argentimaculatus.

They get big and as adults like salt water.

If it is a true dat it is most likely the new guinea (D. campbelli) as it often has a red or orange coloration

I see an asian aro, a Distichodus, and a Semaprochilodus.

Mangrove jacks turn a muddy rust color as adults and are marine fish beyond the juvie stage.
