Red Devil and Midas breeding HELP!

Can a Midas be in spawning mode by itself in the tank? And can a 13 inch Midas be paired with a 4 inch sb red devil?

Wouldn't suggest it, she needs to be atleast 6" if not more. You will have healthier fry. Not to mention she will be abled to take more of a beating.

Things look peachy now, but that can quickly change with this species of fish especially with such a large difference in size. I would keep an eye on them. I agree with Anubiscott, the female should be large enough to take the abuse of a determined male. My male would devour that RDxBP in seconds! Good luck to you though.
