Red Devil Fry loads

nope i dont sell them, they are feeders and give-aways....cant sell devils here...no one has the tank space.
i am in the processs of growing out one from the last btch...he was a stand out....twice the size of the rest.

They are just a different colour. Red Devils are not hybrids. Flowerhorns and BP's are hybrids, for example.

most fish sold as red devils are a hybrid between true red devil and midas. :chillpill::chillpill::chillpill:

Curious as to whether you still use the divider at all? If not, are you using alot of decor bsides the flower pot?

My female is ready to go, yet the male only has his mind eliminating her. I've switched dividers to give her access, yet he just beats her to within an inch of her life every time. She's to stupid to care about her own safety, she just wants to breed. I refuse to use alot of decor, as it just proves to be a pain in the ass come maintainence. Looks like i'm left with the decision to breed only through the divider or to get a larger female. I've never had such agro in a Devil before (i've kept and bred other's in the past). I tell ya, he wants to call all 120g his and his alone.

tank is six foot.....

No need for the divider anymore, only when i clean the tank....all I have is 1 x pot and 1 x hex tube for her to hide in...she takes no crap from the male....when they are laying and have fry there is no agression what so ever...when there inbetween broods he beats her up a bit..but she soon heals. there is only a week of aggression here and there....if i leave the babies in the tank there pretty good to eachother....as soon as I remove them its rumble time.

I would make holes in the bottom of the pots so the female can escape through them. I run Terrecotta hax tubes that only she can fit through, this gives her a great escape route if needed....she knows she can shake him by scooting through the tube.

funny you say that, i have a pair of devils that breed constant and i just pulled one out that was twice as big as the rest, he is now around 2inch and already starting to get rid of his silver apperance
 
Nice fish I have a red devil also. About how big would you say yours are? Mines around 6" and looks just like your white one only all orange..
