Dam that sucks, o well its ok, im bound to find another female. I just really like this one though, i like it's mix of albino ish colors.
Those pair the same one you been talking about that has laid 3000 frys for u?

Ooo nice. How does shipping work? I've never tried. Think you'll ship and i pay ship fee if its not too much? Or if its too much trouble imma just stick with these two or try to get new female. I really appreciate all your advice tho

you figure out how to get em and there yours... , I have never shipped anything either , nevermind anything alive, but i imagine shipping would cost you more than finding some locally..

I have moved on from midevils for now but I have about 50 or so 1/2 inchers growing out so lol they'll be back.

I am more into hybrids and stuff now, and i really want a pair of jags or a daddy fatsack dovii lol,

The only thing I see you are doing wrong is mixing the Midas with the Red Devil. Why not try and acquire a Midas mate or a Red Devil mate.

While I agree with Smitty, the problem is neither of these fish comes with any provenance, and chances are both are hybrid crosses - so in IMHO there is no point in distributing fry from this pair, or any other pair that includes either/or from this pair.

I have no issue with anyone that keeps midevils (I've owned a few myself over the years) but for the life of me I can't understand why anyone would want to breed them, and then pass those hybrid fry on to be further circulated in the hobby?

hippo ........... mac lives in Canada, shipping to you down in CA will cost you FAR more than it would if you simply bought some "pure" A. citrinellus, or A. labiatus from an online vendor in the USA. That, and all you would have from mac is some more hybrids amphilophus.
