Appearance could play a role in it. Personally it did well to last any amount of time as most fish in a piranha tank are on borrowed time from the moment they hit the water. Next time make a video but just try to make sure it is not 30 minutes long lol.

I put an 8" oscar with three 6"rbp's, and the oscar put up a pretty good fight til it got jumped. But if you want some entertainment put a RBP vs. Wolf fish, I put a 6" RBp in my wolf tank that was 8". The red was chasing the wolf around for a bit, but then the wolf just snapped and started owning the red by slamming it repeatedly into the side of the tank. But I saved the red before it died, and let it regather itself in a hospital tank for a week before returning to the shoal. But those were a while ago.......... Curently I have a 4"
Fire Mouth cichlid in a 125gal. with 4 5" rainbow wolfs and they tolerate each other pretty good.....that is until its feeding time. Then it turns into a royal rumble, but the fire mouth has established territory wher i dump the food at so it attacks evrything that tries to come and eat. They put on pretty good fights, not to much damage has ben inflicted on any of the fish that live in the tank, also i just added 5 vulture crabs to the mix see what they can stir up.
