Red Devil, oscar tankmates

hey, my 200gal arrives today and last nite at the lfs I saw a 10"-12" red devil, looked quite aggresive coz he attacked the glass wen you went near it.

can i put the red devil in the 200gal with 5 oscars and a pbass or is that a risk??? dont wanna kill my oscars which measure, tiger 10"-12", 3 reds all 8"-10" and albino tiger 6"-8", and an ornate bichir 13"-14".

They might be alright for a little while if you have the Oscars in first but the red will end up running the tank, he might even kill a acouple before you know it red devils are truely devils... So I would have to say no, I wouldnt do it..

if you do it, all your oscars will be at the mercy of satan. the choice is up to you. i promise your oscars wont be bullied that long..........theyll be killed swiftly

good thinkin dude. oscars should be kept with non aggressive large fish. well at least not anywhere near as aggressive as most of the larger central americans

I've never been big into putting aggresive fish together.It only adds to trouble..JMO

i will not house them together unless there are hiding places and the tank is big enough

I wouldnt put them together, Seeing how aggresive the red devil is. That Devil would probally kill all but the most aggresive Oscars.
