I am wondering what you get when you cross a rd and a parrot or will you just create mean feeder fish any help would be great.

You create mean feeder fish IMO.
RD male to a female BP will create mixed offspring. Some will have bp characterists and some RD. Few will fall in the middle while come become king kong parrots or are KKP's only made with midas?
Im not entirely sure, I wouldnt expect anything great though.

Well that clears things up a little our female is a bp I guess I'll try and see even if we only get mean feeders because we can always use some cheap food. If anyone else has another thought please chime in.
Nice! I'm trying this is my little kiddie-pool pond as my male RD and female BP seem to like eachother. I"m hoping for KKP, but you can never know. I'd imagine that if you did it with a real kokster midas the few ones you get that fade to red would be real mammon-ish. but I figure you can get kkp from this cross, as a king kong dosen't need a hump, just a good head shape.
They did lay eggs and she is busy tending to them she is a real good mother but a bit of a tramp with our texas it only took them about 2 days to mate the rd about4 days. What would happen if I cross some of these with our red texas fry or is that hard to do because the males will likely be sterile?
