Red Devil Question

I have a fairly small 4" Red Devil. He was purchased at the LFS for $5. When I got him you could see a little of the red sneaking through some black coloration. But as the weeks moved on he turned completely Red/Orange. Now he is turning black again. Or I should say he has a black spot on his nose, a little around his gills and all of the fins are now black tipped.

Let me know if this is normal? Thanks.

red devils change colour all throughout their lives. don't worry about it

yeah my lil bugger was all black now he is all orange its normal

It is totally normal for them to change colour.
