Red Devil + Salvini Success

I came home from work tonight to find about 40 Red Devil + Salvini fry being protected by the proud parents.

They are in a 1000ltr tank with Oscars, Flowerhorns & a large plec.

I knew they had laid eggs, as the Red Devil savaged me while cleaning the tank.

I would now like to grow on a few to see what they actualy turn out like. My question is - how? I have never bred Cichlids before.

How long will the parents look after them? I assume they will be feeding them. When should I move them to their own tank?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I've bred red devils and salvinis but never cross-breeding(very nice).But cichlids are pretty easy from my experience. I haven't done it in years but if I'm not mistaken I think the parents will care for the fry for 2 weeks to a month or so. But to be safe I'd get them out of there within a couple weeks. You'll be able to tell when the fry is strong enough to be moved. Once again I'm not an expert and you might want to ask someone at a fish store.
