Red Devil scales?

Today when I was doin my weekly waterchange in my 75 gallon, I noticed some scales from my red devil floating around. I can see the areas on her where they came off and I'm wandering if theres any disease I need to be worried about. My RD is very aggresive towards my full grown pleco and it could just be battle scars. I am just tryin to be safe (rd/midas are very easy to get attatched to).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

how big is the red devil and who do u keep as tankmates and how big are they?,it may be due to fighting

She's about 8 inches and all i have in there is a 12'' pleco
I also have some big pieces of slate and she may have ran in to it

most likely the pleco's doing. just throw some salt in there it should heal up in no time.

the 2 possible reasons is that she fought with the pleco but i doubt its tht reason, i would have to go with her probably running in to something.My red devil goes crazy sometimes to so i wouldnt worry.pictures would problaby help alittle bit

she most likely got in a bust up with the pleco, fishkeeper25, you shouldnt underestimate the aggression of pleco's.

not underestimating nothing, i just think the missing scales are from her banging into rocks and ornaments,sometimes when my red devil gets pissed she runs into things without knowing.
