Ya I kinda throw those around terms around interchageably as well but he was sold to me as a red devil so that's what's stuck haha even though I'm pretty sure he's a hybrid

personally i find the whole red devil, midas, midevil, thing very confusing regardless of what he is ... he is sweet.

The nuchal hump in amphilophus is mostly comprised of water, which is why it can become larger, or as in this case much smaller, in a very short period of time. See link below for more info.
