I haven't heard of any ca/sa american cichlids hybriding with african. So I doubt it.

no such thing as a lion head chiclid

if you'd do a search on google there is a lion head chiclid (steatocranus casuarius)
but i doubt this small african can hybridize with the large CA/SA such as red devil

Bderick you are a genius!!! This is exactly the fish that was shown to me in the Cichlid guide. Im going to get two or three to see what the color will be like. Question, I am a noob but I have to ask. Does this make it a flower horn of some sort?

It may, but I really have no idea. There is not much "pearling" around the flowers, I supose that mixed with other fish there could make a type of FH
