i just got a 12" girl red devil and i put her in my 1000l tank with my boy he dosn't seem to keen on mating thier just swimming around like fish oh yeah the male wasn't in that tank i put in together

Sorry , what i mean is i got a 12" female red devil and put her in a 1000l tank by herself then added my male rd of about same size. He isn't too keen on spawning he is just swimming, no fanning or intrest at all i wonder why? Any suggestions would be great! I just have now added my other male rd and still nothing is happening? Can anyone pls tell me what to do? Have i done good or bad???
