yeah, what's the current temp? you might try to raise it a little bit. 12" for a female is kinda of large, are you sure it's a female. You do need to make sure you have a male and female. Can you post pics of the their tubes?

Sorry , what i mean is i got a 12" female red devil and put her in a 1000l tank by herself then added my male rd of about same size. He isn't too keen on spawning he is just swimming, no fanning or intrest at all i wonder why? Any suggestions would be great! I just have now added my other male rd and still nothing is happening? Can anyone pls tell me what to do? Have i done good or bad???

give them a break................ they just met

boGive them time they wont spawn straight away , theyboth have to get know each other and be happy with each other to spawn .
