Hi. I have a male Red Devil that is at least 8" long. I am considering selling him and the 55 gallon tank he now lives in. I'm gonna be moving soon and the new place is small. My question is; What is a fair asking price for my Devil? I have had him for three years now. I got him when he was a about 2 " long. Could someone help me out here?

Depends on if the stand is wood or steel also if there's a filter pump etc... You would be lucky to get 250 were from for a fare condition 55g with stand and for the devil 50 bucks would be a reasonable quick selling price.
I don't think anyone would want a large red devil but more than money, if he were mine, I would just want him to go to a responsible fish keeper that would provide him a good home. As to your 55g, you might get $100 if it's acrylic, maybe $50 if it's glass. I would check your local Craig's List to see what other people are selling tanks for.

they're insane then... i could get a 150g+ turnkey setup for 300... and im not usin the term turnkey loosely here...
Yeah, no where around here will you get a 150 set up for $200. That's what you would get for a 75.
