red devils breeding ??

Those two fish are definately liking each other.............I have seen the complete opposite happen many times before where the female ends up dead...........The female is following him around, and the maleis flaring his gills in a non threatening manner to her.........One sure sign this is a bonding pair is the male is not snapping and biting her..........I would place an egg crate by the tank in case the male turns on her............If there is an extra aquarium laying around, then set it up for the female in case of the bad happening..........

thanks everyone and importracer thanks did you watch the new videos? they spawned and have fry the parents get along fine but i do have a divider just in case . but knock on wood i don't think i will need it they have been without divider for close to 2 months the fry are gonna be a month old on the 16th.

feeding these guys has become a chore and cleaning the tank is near impossible yesterday my male jumped out of the tank trying to attack me because i was feeding the fry . i was scared he would die . i scooped him up and put him right back in the tank but he fell a big drop the top of the tank is probably over 4 feet high he seems ok now but still worried about him guess i have to get a top for it
