Can you tell the sex?

The only way you can tell the sex is venting... and sometimes as they mature the male will get the huge nachal hump on his head.. but females can have the hump too so it is not reliable to sex this way.. female will have eggs eventually whether male is present or not.. thats another way... but the only sure way is venting,...also males have longer fins, and grow larger with maturity then females.. the male usually reaches about 12 inches
