i have 3 with a jd in a 20 high. they are viscious. they even pick on the pleco. they kill anything in the tank with them. im hoping cattle (the one pictured) and lightening the largest pair up m/f cause there mean and growing fast. will do nicely in my 90 when they get a little bigger.

this is my RD 'Floyd'... he's around 11" and lives alone in a 90gallon tank
ive been bitten far too many times off this guy, and water changes are a real challenge
.... he gets really p1ssed off if i move any rocks or gravel around so its always one eye on the fish when my arms are in there
but he's cool and keeps my customers entertained
HINT: water changes/cleaning can result in being bit, use a net (dont take out the devil) gently push it to the side of the aquarium and use one hand to clean with. it works for me.
SEXING:
Males are larger, have more pronounced nuchal humps, and longer fins. Their vents are slim and protrude from the body. Females have larger vents, which are angled toward their anal region.

He actually looked really cool with his big head...haha..he does not see his girlfriend anymore..so he looks normal...
