In peoples experience @ what size do they start to become aggressive towards fish, people, etc. This is my first Amphilophus.

Mine is only 5" in a 90 gallon with lots of smaller fish. He gets in fights with my 5" Male Honduran Red Point but no one else. It is also a little shy when feeding, as most i have seen come right up to the surface begging for food. I know I wont be able to keep all these fish in my tank.

Is he gonna snap into a different fish soon? Just curious of peoples experiences. Also are females less aggressive and owner responsive? Not sure what sex mine is.

not all are your biting fingers glass head bangers.. some are nice ... my female is pretty easy going to other tank mates and never aggressive if i have to work inside the tank.. the male attacks anything and everything.. and he would jump out if i let him he is so aggressive when it comes to his food..:D
