I'd say 12 inches. The ray in the background is around 12" in diameter.

He's in my 450g and loving life. He's fairly mild mannered. He was a bossier when he was in a smaller tank, but now he doesn't really bug anyone.

This is one of the greatest threads on MFK. Of course, I'm biased because Midas are my very favorite cichlid. I really do need to just get back into them.
