am not really sure but the sun's direct ray might help him a lot,besides turtles need them
 
i raised the temp. to about 82F. hope it works... i will also take him otside in the sun today. thanks,, i hope it works.
 
After your turtle gets better remember to keep the water temperature between 75˚ and 80˚ degrees F. Room temp is not good enough. Best of luck with your RES.
 
cold drafts are what usually trigger a resperatory infection.

if this tank is located next to a door or window consider relocating it away from there. and keep the tank cover well but have and opening for proper ventilation.

and dont take him out for sun if its cold outside.

more importantly, take him to a vet.
