red eared slider not growing?

Do you have a UVB light on him? Normal heat lamps don't put out UVB rays, and they need it to manufacture vitamin D3, which is critical for calcium absorbtion and growth.

He originaly told us thats he's an "expert" he should know something this basic. I am doubting his knowledge.

man im obviously nto an expert get over it, im 14 i was exagerating that i knew and read alot bout em. i asked a simple question and if u cant answer it there no point of gettin on here and sayign stuff liek that im not even beign mena i knwo when ppl dont knwo what there doing and they r hurting animals i hatew it soo muhc and i get angry but i own so many animals and this turtle is very healthy and active and i feed him all the right amount of veggies meat and regular reptile sticks i feed him a d3 suppliment i have all the uvb anduva and ehat lamps this turtle has eveyrthing he needs his water is regulated to the rigth temperature and he right ammonia levels. i am also working at petr sity this summer so hah! haha no im jokin but i am working there lol i knwo doesnt mean much but hey im no expert right,,,
 
he hasnt grown a lot i was wondering if it had anythign to do with anythign i was doing its not even the size of him it sjust since i had him he hasnt really grown calm down because i dont care what you think
 
I had a HUGE male with a 9 inch shell lol. I dunno how old he was.

What size is your tank?

How long is the shell of your turtle, from front to back?

Please answer with one word replies.

Often times, the enclosure has a lot to do with the size of your turtle. Just because you have the recommneded space doesn't mean it will always be sufficient.

I've found that turtles will almost ALWAYS outgrow an encloure. Or, they will get to a point where, if they got much bigger, it would be hard to get around. And their growth slows dramatically.
