many are captive bred now too. I imagine that has a lot to do with it.
 
You'll be fine, it's not rocket science.
 
Fish are not suitable food items. Assorted gutloaded insects should be your choice.
 
Agreed. Crix, roaches, mealworms etc. All dusted or gut-loaded.
 
i don't mean as a staple, im thinking more along the lines of would they go after them, or would it be best to get them out (i have a habitat set up with a school of guppy's in the pond), obviously im not concerned if they get eaten, more just curious if they would go after them.
 
They probably would and it would really not be good for them. Thyaminase poisoning is common when reptiles are fed goldfish.

There is no tyaminase in guppys but there is also absolutly no interest in getting skinks to eat them. I find unlikely they would go after them either.
