Hello, I dont know anything about this fish. Will one do well with a tank of tinfoils, silver dollars, balas? Do they do alright alone or better with their own kind in groups?

They do well in 1s,and 3+ never 2's.

The tank measures 96"x48"x38".It contains 6 RFGG,30 clown loaches,20 more botias(histrionica,robusta,pulchra,kubotai,almorhae,and modesa)2 girraffe cats,1 striped rafael cat,6 sunshine pleco,6 misc pleco and 4 A.rainbows.

For filtration I'm using a bead filter designed for koi ponds.It has 2 cubic foot of small plastic beads to filter out solids and provides a large surface area for bacteria.To backwash it clean you need only turn a few valves.I'm pumping over 3,000 gph which both keeps the tank very clear and creates a stong current.

Man, that rocks! Think I could convince you to paint the plywood of the tank? (The exterior, of course). For a better aesthetically effect? I suggest Black.
