Red Fin Pickerel

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yea, they pretty much hover in the tank. Except feeding time of course. They attack prey with lightning fast strikes, very cool to watch. But yes, they will not be swimming back and forth in the tank.

Yeah, 55 sounds about right. Don't let the temp get too warm, the higher the temp is, the more sensitive they are to slime loss.

That site says 10g for all their fish, I always figured it was like a default thing and they just never changed it.

Dam i think i want 1 for my 55 gal. Wat would you say a good temp would be?
Not sure on the specifics. Being Pickerel, they do prefer warmer temperatures than say, Pike and Muskies, but when they are in water that is too warm, their slime coat can be removed easier, like, say, with a net.
Nice avatar.

lol is that the aquaculture site? I have ordered from him in the past and find the guy great and great fish but they need to change that .

Even the bass which grow to 38 inches they have as 10 gallon tanks.

Who ever put that together put 10 gallon for all the fish. The guy is very honest thus agree an oversight.
