Since we're on the topic of L137, for those of you who've had them for a while what has their growth rate been like for you? Anyone have a a full grown one?

I purchased my pair 4 or 5 years ago. Bother were about 3". Grew probably and inch are year but once they hit 6" they seem to have stopped or at least really slowed.

I don't personally have a full grown one, but I have seen a few. Biggest I've seen was about 9.5¨ (23-24cm).

I got mine (2) at about 4¨, a bit more than a year ago. I think they are probably 2 males, because they seem to dislike eachother a lot. The more dominant one is now about 6¨, so he grew 2¨ in a little over a year. The smaller one is 5¨, so he grew about an inch. Big difference is, the bigger one always wins the food fight and gets more food at the end of the day.

Definitely a rusty aka Hypostomus cochliodon aka L310. They look very similar to the L137 but the eyes are the big giveaway. I think you are lucky I haven't actually seen one for sale in my LFS before even though they tend to have a good selection. Their L137s usually sell for around $80
