Slide a clay dish under the divider and is she legs eggs most likely it will be on the dish and he can fertilize from other side, really depends on what kind of diver you using as well.

update, the female laid eggs, i removed the divider and she attacked him guarding the eggs. they continued to fight as he showed interest in the eggs. they then locked mouths and i divided them again. will she lay eggs just to lay them, i thought she laid them for him? Can someone tell me if this reaction is normal? Any advice would be appreciated. No time to post pictures yet but i will get there.

I just read Rickyoutlaw's post and will try that next. my divider is clear acrlic with dozens of 1/2" holes all over it so i think it will work. so off i go to buy a clay dish. she laid them on the top edge of a flower pot this round.
