My red head Tapajos laid eggs. They are currently guarding the eggs. They did this 2 weeks ago but I believe the eggs fungused up and were eaten. What is the best way that I can get some fry out of this? They are laid on a piece of slate

Yes I have an empty 10 gallon and also an extra sponge in the tank they are currently in that has been established for a while

Fill the 10 with water from the main aquarium also I suggest not allowing the eggs to be exposed by air place the slate in a container of aquarium water and transfer it to the ten. I suggest placing a air stone near the slate to help circulate water movement. Do you have any Methylene Blue on hand?

No I do not have any Methylene blue on hand. And would the air pump connected to the sponge filter be sufficient?

The airstone would actually would be like the mother fanning the eggs but lets keep our fingers crossed. Do you have a small heater should have mentioned that earlier.
