Red Heart Parrot

These are really fantastic fish in my opinion. I have a few of them in my parrot tank and they are quite congenial! No problems with swimming or feeding just happy active fish. Not sure what all the fuss is about? No one seems to mind when a dogs tail or ears are clipped or bobbed.

People would mind if you cut the dogs legs off.

By the look of the missing tail they are cutting off the tail high enough that it's cutting through the vertebrae, through the spinal cord, which would be insanely painful.

I do mind. I don't like cropping of any kind being done to ANY animal. It is cruel and unnecessary.

I agree with you. Somebody has to stand up for animal rights.

Yeah it sounds like you really care about the well being of your fish. I'm sure if the parrots had the choice they would have rather been in the care of a responsible hobbyists tank. Somebody who would have never thought about mutilating them in the first place. Instead they are stuck with the guy who paid good money to have them sliced and tortured. Congratulations on supporting horrible practices. People like you make me sick. I can only hope that karma will give you all that you deserve.

Fish are at best second class citizens here in captivity purely for our amusement. If the fish had a choice it would not be in a responsible fishkeepers aquarium but in the wild where nature intended. Send my regards to the karmatic continuum. Certainly we are all doomed for condoning the enslavement of these helpless creatures.
