RED IGAUNA...WTF....

I was at local store purchasing some mealworms when something red caught my eye...It was a juvenile RED IGUANA...Looked just like a green iguana, but the body was almost totally red!!!The worker said it was'nt a hybrid...The lizard was mybe 8 inches from tip to tip...I asked the worker if it was something endangered back in El Salvador...All she said was that a breeder bred it and that it rarely is available...Store wanted $150.00 for it...Any thoughts....

This issue has popped up before on another forum site I go to. They're just a locale-based color morph. Still the same species. Other than that, I'm don't know much else.
