color (and afew other characteristics) usually indicated what part of central or south america they came from!

now that i think about it more

the first and last pic look fishy

like its artificial :WHOA:

i mean the color goes from red to green, no blending in, its like the ig was painted or something.

and those prices are a rip off, ig's should run between 10 and 30 dollars

would feeding your iguana a diet with alot of red food (not dyed) change the color of your iguana.
iv heard of this happening to some animals.

Possibly, but venturing too far from its natural proper diet (which is mainly dark, leafy greens) could also result in health issues. I wouldn't experiment on my animals like that.

this does not occur in green iguanas

feeding alot food high in carotene (such as carrots) are not good for an iguanas health

carrot contain calcium oxidates which prevent the reptile from absorbing the calcium from its diet

long term wise this can lead to MBD

They lose the green as they get older. :) I know someone who has one. :)
