First of all...I think the tank is way too small for this guy, but it's a mall pet store, so they don't listen for crap. In your guys opinions...is this overpriced for the iggy too? It seemed a little much considering his coloring isn't that spectacular...

I didn't take a picture of the green iguana tank above, but it's the same size...and it has like 5 green iggys of roughly the same size...and she feeds the iceberg lettuce. I got asked to leave the store one time cause she didn't like hearing what I was saying :banher:

Who cares what price it is? It's only worth what you want to pay.........

And that's how a Red Iguana looks at that age. They wont hit their peak untill around Maturity.......

Completly overpriced, horrible conditions, you name it, even here I can get them for 60 euro. Dont buy anything from that store and make bad publicity about it.

I don't see the problem with a petstore selling young iguanas out of a tank that size. It's only temporary housing, and the less they spend on it the less they have to charge you in the long run.
It only becomes a problem when a salesperson tells you that all you need is a 10g tank for an animal that can reach 6ft in length! But then again, if you are in there to buy it you should already know that.....
I bought mine out of a small tank, and he's doing great.......besides the fact that he's a jerk!

BTW I don't keep him in a tank, he shares a 12'X18' bedroom with a green ig, 2 redfoot torts, and a sulcata tort.
