Time, trial and error.....It might stable up over time or it may never go stable. You will have to try different decor arrangements and light intensity levels.TheEelKing;4837652; said:So will my datnoid ever stablize? Is there a way I can make that happen?
It's mangrove jack and a different fish than the one that Dixon posted. That one is L.sebae......The mangrove jacks,or snappers (Lutjanus argentimaculatus) are sometimes sold here as redfin datnoids to those who don't know any better but they are very aggressive and I've seen them put a real hurting on their tankmates.T1KARMANN;4843756; said:It's not a fresh water fish not that that seams to bother most people
I think it's also called a mangrove Jake if it's not that's also sold sometimes as a red dat
That's one of the fish that lured me into salt keeping but unfortunately they are only brightly colored as juveniles. When they become older their colors fade and they almost look like a different fish....Same goes for the jacks actually.T1KARMANN;4851309; said:The one Dixon posted is real nice and a shame that they are not FW
