Yea idk if I should toss her in my dovii freddy growout tank and move them for a few or just treat her and all the other fish in the 75

75 contains a female grammodes, gt and bellycrawler pike. All between 4-6 inches. Plan on selling all the other fish and getting the red a mate. 20 gallon high has 8 dovii freddy hybrids all around an inch or so. All tanks have heavy filtration

I would honestly move her into her own 29 if you can and just medicate her there. Because it's from an attack I doubt the other fish in the 75 are going to be affected by her being there and healing... But they also can see her as weak and will likely nip at her open wounds, so I would definitely separate her if at all possible.

If you cannot set up a separate tank for her (in addition to having the 75 and 20 up), then I'd keep the freddy/dovii growouts and sell the GT and grammode (unless you've become more attached to her again, heard you weren't happy with them) and perhaps keep the pike (I'm biased to the pike as you can tell by my name).

HTH :)

I like the pike. I never planned on keeping the hybrids I just wanted to see what they would become. I do love my grammodes but my plan is too keep a pair to breed or a 2 fish who get along and the grammodes doesn't like the red isletas. I have her divided in the 75 away from the other fish now. Planned on ordering from gage for a male fore her

I don't think that is a solution though, did you plan on ordering a male isletas or a male grammode from gage?

Honestly I think you either need to decide on the grammodes or isletas, or set up a second tank so you can keep both pairs (Because you definitely want a pair of isletas if you already have a female IMHO).

I understand you want to see how they look when they get older (the hybrids), but perhaps you could move the growouts into a divided section of the 75 and put the isletas in the 20 to heal alone. This all depends on what you use as a divider because if you use light diffuser the hybrids will wiggle through

He is trying to sell all the other fish and he wants to keep the the red isletas and get a male for her. He has trade the LFS but he is waiting for them to clear up room so they can take the fish or he sales them
