Red isletas update after lungfish attack

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Feed lightly and do large daily water changes. Make sure to use a cycled filter if you move it to another tank. Very clean water is your best friend in this situation. In a 20 gallon it should be easy to do a massive water change every day. If you don't want to do them all at once, you can do 50% in the morning and 50% in the evening.

I agree with the previously mentioned.... Salt and melafix. That's what I've used and it heals rather quickly.

That fuzz is a great sign, it's a sign that your fish is healing, Continue to treat with salt and melafix, and raise the temp abit. Good luck. Look at my vieja below, had the same fuzz after suffering an attack from a 13" Male Red devil.

She definitely has a great chance GOAT, funny this thread started because last night my oscar gashed his head open on a piece of driftwood after the lights went out. Basically he decided to hunt the sleeping tiger barbs... Should call this guy scarface because he always cuts himself up.

Anyways - she should be fine :) time, salt, WCs, done deal ;)
