Congratulations Scott I'm glad You were finally able to get a pair They are fantastic. The male looks like his dad that's for sure. Keep us posted. I found some more of my grow outs from 1-4" so I'm gonna pair off bigger ones, keep a pair for myself then sell off the rest. And I know George is gonna be happy/) that pair is ready to spawn again LOL. Well good luck with them and keep us posted.

Thanks Rob. Im sure yours will look just as good. The have tons of blue, I just cant capture it on my phone. Hopefully Ill bring home my work camera this weekend and get some better pics.

Heres 2 quick videos from my phone. Not the best, as theyre from the side of the tank, but you can see them w/ fry at least. The pair moves the fry from one side to the other about every hour.

The water is semi stained from the wood, which I believe has helped to spawn several species Ive had in this tank.

Well, Im further south than Hatteras so it looks like we escaped it this week (3 more possibly headed this way), but I have a large power supply backup on my computers that holds about 12 hrs of energy for the computer, and Ill just use it to power some sponge filters I have and figure I can get longer than that out of the supply if im just running something not as draining as 2 monitors and a tower. They also make battery packs you can plug stuff into that they sell at petsmart/petco or most LFS'.
