RED JAR

i think the red just comes from slight adaptive-genetic variations depending on where the fish came from. much like tree geckos seem to be darker than house geckos. i dont think they're real reds like the asian red arowanas and i also think they dont have established red jar varieties for sale in the market

Dude house and tree geckos are different species... this is a jardini... a jardini is a jardini your comparing apples and oranges... I just really wish i could see this wish with white light in front of a black background... but either way I think it's redder then mostly n e other jar... I wish someone would line breed it!

 more like comparing apples and poke'mon cards:Pikachu:

I think it's 90% influenced by the light and or the camera. One thing if you watch notice when the jar swims near to the front glass, all the red disapears except for the fins. Of course the fins are translucent and still altered by the light. I beleive the Jar may have more red then normal, but I think if you were to put any jar in that set up it would look similar.

a super red jardini is way more red then that. do some research on the fish and you'll see. that jar looks normal with a cool light on it to me. wether or not u use a red light, it depends what kind is used, but it can influence the appearence on the fish's gleam and shine if u have a good red light.

Man I have searched and searched around for pics of jars and info (since we can't keep asians in the us) and I have only seen one photo of a red jar and I don't know how much I believe it's "real" the only size I've seen the jpg in is tiny, I could photo shop my jar to look red if I wanted to and It's not what so ever! But don't get me wrong I do think the lighting pays a big role hear thats why i said I wish I could see it in white light, but I do think it has a decent amount of red(i thought the second video i posted was more accurate.) Post a lagit pic of a super red jar other then that one photo I'm sure you know what i'm talking about and I will believe you.

IMO its the lighting making that jar look more red than normal.
