well yeah overstocking would work. Mainly I was just saying buy several so that you can be sure to get a pair. I suppose odds are you could 3-4 and end up with a pair. In a 30 gallon though you will be fine for a while. They are not real speedy growers and don't really require a large territory.

i picked up twq at the lfs not knowing what they where and
after i had put them in my we planted anddecorated 285 gl. tank things where fine for around a week then i seen the babies from then on they terrorized all the fish in my tank had to remove a tone of stuff (ie.) rocks wood plants to catch them and put them in thier own 40gl.
they are beautiful fish for sure good thing they dont get to be 50 pounds
