Other than venting, is there any distinguishable features on the mammons that will designate male or female? I am going to get one and would prefer a female for my red ragon. He is pretty welcoming to guests and I think a pretty red mammon will make him pretty psyched !! My LFS has alot of them and he wants $138 each...could probably go with a KK Parrot too.

never heard of red mammoths? and pics?

Bro Im worried about the validity of these new mammons. All the certificates look the same, more generic than back in the day. Also the color in these mammons seem to be off. Anyway, to answer your question its almost like trying to figure out the sex of a BP. However from the few that I seen, some do have "cichlid vents"

True mammons are way more than $138 each. And they come with a certificate, I've seen fake certificates out there too. The cheapest mammon with a legit certificate I've seen is probably $350.
Some breeders swindle you off by cross breeding a KKP with a fader FH and cross back into KKP multiple generation. As long it contains it's kok from the FH. They will leave it at that and call it a mammon.

are they microchipped?
As for sexing yes same as BP
No they are not micro-chipped yet as far as I know about them. But they come with a certificate for proof that they are legit mammons and not those fakes out there. Much like a dog being registered in AKC UKC ABKC and so on...

Especially the comment on page 6 by Happy Breeding Farm.

Any Red Ingot or Red Mammon we have exported to anywhere always comes with a cert and a chip. If you are buying a real Red Ingot or Red Mammon , please request the cert from the shop or distributor.
http://www.happybreed.com/search.html If you have a certificate from our farm, you can go to our website to verify your chip number.
