Is this a Red Mammon i’ve been told it is but am not sure
I swapped it for another fish who swapped it for a fish and apparently it was brought from overseas.

It's unlikely unless you paid a pretty penny, $500+ It is likely just a very nice shaped kkp.

A LOT of fish that are KKP, have been marketed and sold as Mammon over the years, and this continues today. It seems like nowadays any decent KKP is referred to as Red Mammon, which is a farce. Mammon come from Happy Breed Farm in Taiwan, and as far as I know Happy mammon come with a chip, and a cert. No cert, no chip = no mammon.

I personally own a female KKP that is as nice or nicer than fish I have seen posted here and elsewhere as Red Mammon. I paid $60 for her at 7", at a local Big Al's.

If you are happy with your fish that's all that really matters.
