Red or Super Red Severums

where you at in ca, they have some nice super reds at 'tongs' in fountain valley

they are a little fragile when vendor bring them in at a small small size. I've been told that before they export them, they are dyed to get even redder therefore causing more stress to them once lfs get them in. After a few week in the lfs tank, the ones that are alive and doing well are the stronger ones and they'll be fine.

they are not dyed, they may feed them food with hormones or something in it like they do with baby oscars or some discus to bring out the brighter colors but they dont dye them

From what I have seen personally, they are not as hardy as other sevs. Any time the store I work at would get them in they would always be very sickly and we would usually loose them. After a few tries we just stopped ordering them.
