RED OScar unusual behaviour

it is kind of starnge to tell you all but i think my red os are showing some very unusual behaviour
all day the lie on the walls of the aquarium and only then swim to top when i feed them


how can i sort out with this prob.

Do they act normal when you go to feed them?
If they do, it could be that they are just sulking.
Are they acting weired in any other way?

yes they act totally normal at feeding time but shows as if they are going to dye all day

How many oscars, how big the tank and how many other fish in there? How long has this been going on as well?

do you have enough filteration for them?
do you change water alot?

If you just got the fish I'd say its just regular Oscar fish behavior, beings they always get sulky when you move them from tank to tank, if you have had them for awhile and this is new behavior I would say it sounds like a swim bladder infection. Try this: stop feeding the fish for a few days, give the fish optimal water conditions by performing frequent small water changes (10% every week) and see if the problem clears up.

It might be that the tank is too crowded. My oscar did this when I had him with 7 other fish in a 45 gallon. (he was about 3-4 inches though)

They sulk & pout all the time.
