My Parrot is 7 years old and is 8" in length,She is the boss of the tank and is in with other tough fish like a Salvini and large JD and she is more interested on what is going on outside the tank than any other fish i have seen.A real wet pet.Check out my gallery.
I got them mix with my aro and front....he fought with my front before but they got use to each other in the end.
.Parrots can go with the more semi-aggressive cichlids....I've had mine w/ krebensis, rusty's, sverum cichlids!
Currently mine is living with:
Barbs
Severums
FHxBP Hybrids
Cori Cats
Plecos
Just make sure the cichlid is not too aggressive and you should be fine! I feed a mix of OSI Blood Parrot pellets & Hikari Sinking Carnivore pellets.
