well, in most areas on the east cost, they're relatively easy to find. you can find them in ponds or marshes probably. other than that though, they're pretty scarce. not very many are captive bred. most are wild caught.

For bowfin, look at various Asian grocery stores, they sell em live as "Dogfish".

not down here. in canada they advertise them as dogfish. over here, ur lucky if u see a live snakehead
