My lapradei seems to lose its color whenever it's stressed out, losing its initial colors. So, I plan to buy red sand as recommended by many bichir owners to strengthen its colors. Should I get red sand or black sand for more lapradei to obtain greener colors?

black sand can either make ur lap dark brwn or dark green, red sand brings out better color

black sand will bring out the green, red sand will bring out contrast in the pattern.

brown substrates make them look good too, not many people say that though, the only problem is that the fish then blend in and their camouflage really works lol

works on all
